Shell and Equipment Insurance

NOARA is please to offer the most comprehensive choices when insuring individually and club owned equipment.

NOARA Individual Member Shell Insurance

$250 deductible, 2.85% premium rate
$500 deductible, 2.60% premium rate
$1,000 deductible, 2.35% premium rate

Minimum premium is $175.

• Physical Damage only. Navigation throughout the United States and Canada
• Individual policies are written with the Club as the Named Insured.
• Payments can be made by check or credit card and/or in installments.
• Insureds can use a toll free phone number or the internet to pay premiums.
• No premium payment is needed to start the coverage. An invoice will be mailed directly to the Insured shortly after inception.
• Binding can be immediate. Temporary Binders will be sent electronically, and by street mail, to the Insured and Loss Payee.
• Oars, cox boxes, etc. are protected under the Unscheduled Personal Property Limit of $2,500 ($250 deductible regardless of chosen deductible for shells) at no additional charge.
• Trailers are given a $250 deductible regardless of the chosen deductible.
• Automatic coverage for new purchases. Insured must notify Agent soon after purchase.
• Renewal policies are sent to the Insured at least one month prior to renewal date.
• Optional $100,000 of Watercraft Liability on individual policies.

Policies follow all insurance regulations of the State in which Insured resides.
